Melia Events sets itself apart through its signature approach to luxury wedding design. Unlike other planners in Arizona, we blend artistic vision with refined execution, ensuring every fabric layout and moment reflects a level of sophistication and emotional resonance that guests remember long after the day is over. We even take the time to pray over each setup, wishing for the best for every client. We are a small Family owned and operated business with a big heart. I (Evelyn)  began gathering decor items for my daughters quince and just a month into gathering things I was asked to decorate my friends wedding and that day I decided that I loved it and so I started to gather more things and by the 4th month  we had successfully booked the following year fully, Ever since then Melia has continued to grow and niche down into the draping side of decor. I wasn't looking for a business but I'm grateful it turned out that way.

In 2023 I was going through already 7 years of cancer and ending my 22 yr relationship, a marriage of which I had 3 beautiful children from. Managing a business and going through all of which we did was not easy, I can't tell you how many times I cried on my way to setup an event and wiped my tears just minutes before arriving at the venue. I still gave my best and showed up with a smile as if I was ok. Eli and Ruby helped out throughout the beginning in building the business and being hands on and her youngest son Israel has yet to join in on the fun as he is just 13 as of 2025. We are grateful for every client that believes in us and trusts us with their very important once in a lifetime events, we do not take them for granted.

The most fun and rewarding part of creating amazing events is watching a vision come to life and seeing the emotional reaction it creates. It's that moment when a client walks into the space for the first time and everything comes together exactly as they imagined, or even better. Seeing their faces light up is deeply fulfilling, knowing our work becomes the backdrop to once-in-a-lifetime moments, first looks, vows, and family memories that people will remember for years to come. That is where the magic really is.
